It's possible the modem has been locked because of usage of another SIM card other than the one recommended. In this case you need to access the contact the one who sold the modem to you. Most likely, the modem is locked to a single carrier and because of that it displays no device. However, there could be another cause to this error. Make sure the device is properly installed in your computer. Go to Device Manager (Start > Run > Device manager) and locate it. If it has a yellow sign, right click it and select Update driver then follow the instructions.
