The remarks column is actually used to enter your notes for the ID you've assigned on that row. There is nothing about it. It can be left empty or filled with information for the ID and that's it. I have installed the software as well and entered a sample callsign found through Google. As I have just said, the remarks column is used to enter additional notes.
