IMPSIMPS ›  IMPS can't run on my PC.

The program can't install, it says this app can't run on your PC. My PC runs with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft 2013. I need this program to open maps produced a few years ago for a research project. Help, please!

IMPS doesn't run on my PC either. I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and this is the error shown on screen when I double click the setup package:

The error indicates that IMPS is an unsupported/incompatible application. You will need something like Windows XP to be able to launch the program, and unfortunately, that can be achieved with the help of virtualization. Virtualbox allows you to install another version of Windows that's running in a simple window with full control over it. Here's a tutorial which you can use to create a virtual machine so that you can install Windows XP.

Note: A Windows XP installation disc or ISO is needed to achieve this.
