Why does "iexplorer" appear running twice in Task Manager?

Why does iexplorer appear running twice in Task Manager with two distinct numerical values ?

There shouldn't be two processes unless you have another window opened or a plug-in that is running in the background, but even so, you should see them. If you believe they're something else, then I recommend running an application that can check the browser and its processes as well as scan the Windows folder and the running services for known malware infections.

one process is 64 bit and the other is 32 bit. I believe the one that says x86 in properties is the 32 bit one.
