You can eaaily upgrade your android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 gingerbread to ... and and it will start upgrading automatically though it takes at ... about 3 hours or so to upgrade....

u should go to ur phone setting and phone managment then u go to software update or sth like that and from there u can update ur phone's firmware
first of ...
... and installing custom firmware like Cyanogenmod (2.3.7) is still an available option ...
