How to delete map-it tool bar?

I have done all the normal things to disable/uninstall the mapit toolbar but it still shows up in Internet Explorer sometimes. It doesn't work so I can't click on anything in it...it's just taking up ...  

Mapit toolbar doesn't show under "add & remove programs".
