I wonder if there's something related with the level difference between my char and monster. I'm level 120 and my attack shows MISS against monsters level 140+.

I have just bought this game and clicked the update icon and was told to contact Ascaron, so I went to the Ascaron site to manually download the update.

I happen to have Knights I and it works fine on my Windows Vista. However Knights II would not function well at all.
