Why can't I get a log on screen to activate?

The Paint Shop Deluxe application is discontinued and registration isn't possible any more. The official developer doesn't have any information about it, however, it seems that the new version of the product is developed by Corel. If you visit the product's website, you will have the possibility to download a new version that can be registered.
