This doesn't depend on you entirely but you can take necessary steps in order to prevent a crash. Make sure that when the application is running, you turn off all other apps as well. You can either do it manually or use the Startup tab from the configuration utility. Go to Start > Run and type msconfig then select the Startup tab. Deselect all the items in the list and then reboot the computer. This way you will be sure that the only program running is the one you need.
