Instead of trying to fix the error with the DLL files, a simple reinstall of the main software would clearly do the job. There is no point in figuring out a problem with a DLL because it could be time-consuming. My advice is to uninstall the software using Add & Remove Programs (XP)/Programs (Windows 7) feature found in Control Panel then download a new package of the software and perform the installation. You will see that this approach way more comfortable then figuring what the error is all about.

I am getting this error message during the re-installation process, so obviously the re-install is not fixing the problem. Any other suggestions?

Then the package you've downloaded is corrupt or got corrupted because Autodesk installations function normally.

I have downloaded nothing. I installed directly from the installation disk. I got a FARO_LS.msi error first, then this adui19res.dll error. I have attempted repairing and reinstalling multiple times with the antivirus software turned off.
