Although the application supports multiple file formats and has many features, it's hard to find the settings for subtitle delay. These settings are hidden in a drop-down menu under the video screen. Open the menu and you will have the possibility to adjust the subtitle delay. I would like to recommend that you use VLC or BSplayer to watch movies. They're far better when it comes to settings accessibility and playback tweaking.
