If you want to hard reset the phone, then you need to enter Recovery menu. To do this, first turn off the phone and then press Volume UP + Power until the Android logo appears. Once the logo is on screen, release the buttons and the Recovery menu will load. Select Wipe Data with volume buttons and confirm with power button. Restart the phone and when the OS loaded, proceed to initial phone configuration.
