Will my registry from the XP allow me to use RegTool in Dell Vista or not?

I got a Dell with Vista from my brother in law for the price of postage. I am a registered user of Registry Tool on my XP. Having major issues with Vista and want to use RegTool in Dell to see if it can straighten it up.

Will my registry from the XP allow me to use RegTool in Dell Vista or not? Do I have to buy a separate app for the newest computer?

Yes, you can use the application in XP but you will have to register the application again. Although the registry structure is changed in Vista, RegTool was developed to recognize the one from XP.
