I use this application, will I be able to recover files lost before installation or only after it?

If you use this application you will be able to recover files that have been lost after the installation. For example, if you have deleted an item and during that time you didn't installed or transferred something, then you can use this application. The more operations you perform on your hard disk related to copying, installation, the less chances you will have to recover the files.
