I need a WEP key or more up-to-date driver software. Any information really will be appreciated.

You need a WEP key to connect to a wireless protected network. This key is entered at login window when you attempt to connect to the network. To install the device on desktop, first download the drivers from RALINK website since the device is using a RALINK chip, more precisely RT257x/RT2671.

Once the driver is installed, reboot the computer and it will work.
