My software is only for Windows XP, I installed Windows 8.1, now I cannot open the database. Can you help?
First you need to look on the developer's website for an updated version. If the application is constantly updated, you should be able to download an updated version soon enough. Additionally, try to transfer the setup package then right click it and select Troubleshoot Compatibility and select Windows XP from the list. Windows 8.1 will try to adjust the compatibility settings to make it work. When the process is finished, run it as Administrator.
