Archiving past recording from a workstation vs the mainframe.

At work we have three computers that our dicta-phone operates of. One is the mainframe with all the administrative privileges while the other two are work stations. On one of the work stations we have a recording saved which occurred in January of 2014. I need to pull this recording off the main frame. I am unable to view that far back on the main frame. Any ideas how I find this and download it?

If you know the file name, go to the desktop of the mainframe and press F3. Apply the filter related to Date and specify exactly the date then all the files modified at that time frame will be listed and you will be able to copy the files. However, if the files are assigned to an Administrator user, you will not be able to copy them unless the user is logged in.
