I have downloaded 4D on my new laptop that has Windows 8. When sending to machine I get a window that says close all softwares to continue. What do I need to do?

I have downloaded 4D on my new laptop that has Windows 8. When sending to machine I get a window that says close all softwares to continue. What do I need to do?

It seems the application is not compatible with some other applications installed in your computer. In this case, simply go to System tray and close all the unnecessary applications then it will work normally. If you still encounter errors, start Task Manager (right click on Taskbar) and close all the other applications. Don't touch applications started by the user SYSTEM.
