i find it impossible to burn video files i have transferred from my digital cameras to my imac using final cut pro, aperture, iDVD, toast, roxio's easy-transfer-from-vhs-to-dvd or any other mac or third party application for the mac o.s. that supposedly allows you to do this. you must be a technical savvy total geek to make these "easy" programs work even after reading the manuals and viewing tutorials. i use instead a toshiba vhs/dvd machine design to burn videos to dvds.
