When I open CodeWright software, it shows "CodeWright Programmer's Editing System has stopped working". I uninstalled and installed the software again, but the OS says "The program of feature "\??\C:\Program Files\Borland\CodeWright\updatini.pif" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available." I bought the software in Nov. 2012. Is there a way to run it without an update?

Unfortunately, CodeWright application was discontinued and you can't download the version that is developer for 64-bit machines. However, to solve your problem, try to download and install Windows XP Mode. This is an update released by Microsoft which facilitates running older programs on newer computers, just like your case. After you installed the update, try to install CodeWright again. You should be able to run it on your machine.

You can ignore that error. CodeWright still runs in a 64bit environment.
