If the snap was saved on the SD card, you can connect the SD card to the computer through a card reader and then use an application to scan it for the deleted file. You will have an increased success rate using this method rather then using a recovery application directly on Android. You can use Recuva to get your pictures back. Download and install the application then use the Wizard Guide to initiate the scanning process.
