If you have downloaded and installed it right from for your phone, try wiping the data and reboot the phone. The process should be something like this: wipe data, install custom ROM, install GAPPS package (AOKP ROMS), wipe data & cache & dalvik, restart phone.
This has never failed anyone if it's done properly.
