The application does not remove junk files.

Question

I have been using your 'Find Junk Files' utility for some long-time now. However, just noticed that after I removed all the files and did a new search (immediately) it found a massive number of files that (allegedly) it had deleted. How can I actually delete them permanently (well, until the next usage when obviously there will be more)?

You need to use another alternative because this application has been discontinued/abandoned. There is no active development in progress which means that the application is not optimized to work correctly. Try installing CCleaner and all your problems related to junk files will disappear completely. If you want to get some advanced features, there is the possibility to install CCEnhancer. The application adds additional options for known applications to search for junk files.
