If the laptop fails to boot, restart it and continuously press F8 until the service menu appears. Select Last Known Good Configuration that worked and then use the instructions on the screen to start Windows. If Windows continues to fail it means that you will have to format and install it again or use the recovery method (if available). You need to check the manual for recovery options.
