Is there any info about a new version of the OST plugin v2.0? Maybe a premiere date?

Yes, version 2.0 of the plugin is available for downloading for Windows and Linux. However, to access them, use the post on the Symantec website which explains exactly where to log in and with what username and password. Make sure to disable any download managers you might have activated.
