How can I disable it so that it will not show I am online?

As long as my computer is on, it will always show on my friends Facebook that I am online. How can I disable it so that it will not show I am online?

To disable the online presence, log in to Facebook then go to the Chat window on the bottom-right of the page and open it. Click the settings wheel, then select Turn off chat and your online presence will be hidden. Next time you load Facebook, you will be shown as being offline.
