You might need to check the configuration of the software to see exactly where the problem is. Start the application, then go to Settings and check the configuration settings related to network. On a side note, go to Start > Control Panel > System & Security > Windows Firewall. Add the application to the exclusion list and then reload the software. It should work normally.
