It isn't advised to delete an application that is installed on your PC. To properly remove it, you need to go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs and Features (Windows 7) select the program and click Uninstall. By doing this, you make sure that there aren't any leftover files associated with this program on your computer. If you have problems removing it by this way, I suggest you use Revo Uninstaller. This tool will force any software to uninstall by wiping out all traces of it's presence from the PC.
