If your Vaio is NFC enabled, then access its software and make sure it's in permissive mode. Then unlock your phone and enable NFC and Android Beam. Use the application on Vaio and initiate a sending operation then touch the phone to the Vaio. The laptop should have an area where you need to approach the phone. Once it's connected the transfer will begin. The process works backwards as well.
