i have a 1.5 tb freecom xs i installed the password protection and when i restarted the pc it crashed,now i cant get in my external please help

I think you better use a software or a tool-box called : HIREN's BOOT CD v9 of v10 it's Free - Google is your Friend - This ISO file will create a CD with a free version of MiniWindows. . . it's a tool-box and many free software to detect, remove passwords . . . or at least to get access to your files, then. . . move your files to another hard drive. . and re-format your Portable hard-drive. . move back all your files to a new re-formated HDD
