How to convert Address Book 7.0 files into the CSV format?

Use Export function found on the file menu and select Comma Delimited. Make sure to include custom fields known as user-defined fields. If you will export the file without these filed, you will lack important information when you need to perform additional import operations into other application.

To convert to CSV file format, select EXPORT > Comma Delimited, but before doing this operation you need to customize your template to include the following field user-defined fields. When you complete this operation, you can save the file to the CSV format.
