My PC not playing CDs or DVDs if Net Setter is in use. I need help!

This issue happens in Ubuntu and any Linux based system. Download and install the following packages.

usb-modeswitch-data - http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/usb-modeswitch-data
usb-modeswitch - http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/usb-modeswitch

Download the .deb files and use : 

 sudo dpkg -i FIRST_PACKAGE.DEB
 sudo dpkg -i SECOND_PACKAGE.DEB

Once you complete this, the system will recognize your device as being a USB data modem.
