The new device doesn't get recognized because of the old one.

I recently changed from CPAP to BIPAP, but when I try to log on it doesn't recognize my credentials because the old device is still in the settings. How can I get this changed?

In order to use the program with a new one, to overcome the behavior that you encounter, you need to remove the old one first. To do this, go to Start > right click on My Computer > Properties > Device Manager > select the old device > Uninstall. This will remove the old device thus allowing you to use the program with the new one. You should be able to overcome any difficulties.
