How to transfer photos from the camera to computer without wasting so much time?

How to transfer photos from my Lumix camera to the PC? I tried different methods but it seems that I can't do this. The camera is pretty good, but the transfer process is awful. Can you help me in any way?

This is a very easy process that can be accomplished using only your USB cable that came together with the camera. To do this, first you need to turn OFF your camera. After you did this, try using the USB cable and connect the camera to the PC. Now open the camera. By doing this, iPhoto program should automatically start and inform you that you can import photos to the computer. Choose the photos that you want to transfer and then click Import Selection.
