My MSN Messenger doesn't want to update. I downloaded the update but it's not working. Why?

MSN Messenger will not be available to update anymore since it has been embedded into Skype. Microsoft bought the Skype corporation and discontinued the Messenger application. You might need to download Skype to keep using IMs.
