Click the Apple icon from the main menu and select your printer from to System Preferences > Print & Fax. Press Open Print Queue and go to Printer Setup > Utility > Open Printer Utility and start the HP Utility. Click the Scan to Computer option under the Scan Settings and check the Enable Scan to Computer box. Also, click the Network icon from the System Preferences drop-down menu and make sure that AirPort is turned on. As a final solution, try reinstalling the HP Premium C309 drivers and software. Check the HP Consumer Support troubleshooting guide for further information.
