It all depends on the way you connect to the Internet. Express Gate automatically uses the available Internet connection methods and assigns the IP based on that settings. If you don't have Internet activity, use the wrench icon to change the settings because Internet connection differs from one user to another. The problem is that it's not configured properly making the Internet availability inexistent.
