I have a Samsung Series 9 laptop with this camera installed. It came with Windows 7 when I bought it (NP900X3C is the model number). I then upgraded to Windows 8 and the camera just did not work normally anymore. It works, but the quality degraded big time. It does not adjust automatically, washed out, etc. Is there any fix to this? I appreciate any response to this. Thank you!

The problem is that this notebook does not have Windows 8 support and because of that you have installed drivers that were not specifically built for this OS. This is also the cause of the quality. I think you can't do anything until a driver is released for this device or try installing Windows 7 version of the driver without using Windows Update.
