I purchased Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. Is it something I would use when trying to fly a helicopter? Or are they not applicable to helicopter flying?

Yes, you can use the Pro Flight Rudder Pedals to control a helicopter while flying. In controlling the helicopter, the pedals are called anti-torque pedals. By using them you can yaw rate and as a secondary effect you increase and decrease the torque and the engine speed.
