We are losing the X-notification ID whenever we get an NDR bounced e-mail. Did anyone else have this problem and if so how did you get around it?

There is no info about the software or the way it works. The first thing I would recommend is reinstallation. Reinstall the application then repeat the procedure and see if the X-notification ID is lost. Secondly, start the application and go to Help > Help topics. This is the only way when the applications appear to be discontinued for good. If you have the possibility, go to Help > About. Use the contact info and get in touch with the developer.
