My old version only kept 20 log entries before they rolled off. Have there been improvements to that?

Unfortunately, there is no information regarding this subject. The developer didn't stated anything about the log entries in the upgrade patch notes. You can try to download and install the program to find out for yourself, or you can contact the developer for further assistance.
