In order to fix the issue, go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services, locate the Print spooler entry and click Stop. After that, navigate to (C:) > Windows > System32 > spool > PRINTERS and delete all files from that folder. Go again to Services and restart the Print spooler service. Next, unplug your printer, wait 1-2 minutes, plug it again and turn it on. If it doesn't help, uninstall the printer software and drivers, run a registry cleaner and reinstall them.
