How do I replace the extender player? I have an error at the beginning of startup saying; "reinstall extender player." When iTunes is opening, there's a message saying; "There are files missing that need to be reinstalled." I cannot record any music from iTunes and reinstalling iTunes has not replaced the extender player.

Try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. This should fix it but first remove the application completely from your computer. You will have to uninstall its components like Bonjour Service, Apple Application Support, Apple Software Update.
