YAMAHA DM1000 with OPTOCORE YG2 miniY and remote headamp rack LX4A

Is this configuration supposed to work? Actually, the desk receives the remote headamps signal (LX4A OPTOCORE), but it's impossible to control the gain. It works fine with the PM5D. Is there anyone able to explain this problem (the set up page on the DM1000 is perfectly filled)?

Yes, the devices work with the help of the computer software. For more information you can check the official website.
