In order to fix the issue, uninstall the software using its uninstaller or Add or remove programs feature, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Network adapters list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, navigate to the official web page, select your modem model from the drop-down list and download and install the latest drives and software available. In this way you will reset the software configuration to default and the card will be reactivated.
