In order to fix the issue, uninstall the program using its uninstaller or Add or Remove Programs feature, run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system and install the product again. If it doesn't help, go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options, click the View tab, un-check the Hide extensions for known file types box and click OK. After that, navigate to the installation directory of the program and delete the files with .dd extension. Check the IBM forum for further details.
