It's possible that the server was under maintenance when you tried to access it. You can check the status of the server on ServerWatch page. You will have all information regarding the server's current status. Alternatively, try turning off the firewall and then connecting to the server again. If you still can't connect to the server, it's possible that the ISP blocked the ports that the server is using to accept incoming connections.
