When I open Europa Universalis III, it gives and error: "Failed to create graphics".

This error is caused by the settings found in settings.txt or because you don't meet the minimum requirements that this game needs.

Browse to the root folder of the game and open settings.txt with your favorite text editor. Locate the following strings:

graphics={
size={ 
    x=1680
    y=1050

}

Modifity X and Y according to the most used resolution on your desktop. Try 1024 x 768 to run the game in a safe mode resolution then you can increase it gradually.

If you still have this error, then your computer does not meet the minimum requirements.
