Norton 360 runs a process that indicated it is taking a look at the registry. However, when I run a registry cleaner like UniBlue, it claims that there are hundreds of errors in my registry. What's going on? Is Norton incompetent when it comes to cleaning up the registry, or is UniBlue finding a lot of bogus errors in order to sell their product?

I believe the reliability of Uniblue products is not to be trusted. According to the information found on the web, it's recommended to use something better than Uniblue. You can try CCLeaner which makes a safe job removing obsolete registry files.

Norton 360 is a good product, but it consumes your system's resources way too fast aggressively too.
