When I'm trying to download Adobe Reader, it tells me that "There was a problem sending the command to the program". What can I do?

Go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Turn Windows Firewall on or off and check the Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended) box. Also, make sure that your security program firewall is temporarily disabled. After that, navigate to the official web page and download and install the software. After the installation process is complete, turn on Windows Firewall and launch Adobe Reader. Press Ctrl + K key combination, click the General option and un-check the Enable Protected Mode at startup box.

Also, go to Start, type regedit and open the utility. Navigate to HKEY-CURRENT-USER > Software > Adobe > Acrobat Reader > 10.0 > Privileged, double click the bProtectedMode from the right pane and enter 0 as Value data. This should fix the issue.
